- Phase-1
UX Audit (User Experience & Design)
They needed to establish authority in the competitive West Bengal eye care market and generate qualified patient inquiries through digital channels.
- Key UX Findings:
Navigation & Header
- Overcrowded Navbar: Contains too many elements (logo, contact info, tagline, menu, CTA) in one bar — makes it look cluttered.
- Excessive Height: Takes up too much screen space and pushes main content below the fold.
- Weak Visual Hierarchy: No clear distinction between main navigation and secondary info.
- CTA Visibility: “Book Now” button could be more visually distinct and consistent across pages.
Booking Form (Homepage & Book Now Page)
- Form Too Long: Overwhelming at first sight; discourages quick engagement.
- No Field Grouping: Personal info, pickup/drop details, and timing fields are all mixed.
- Weak Visual Hierarchy: Important fields don’t stand out; everything looks equally weighted.
- CTA Visibility: “Book Now” button could be more visually distinct and consistent across pages.
Services & Packages
- Static Design: Service and package cards lack hover, animation, or CTA buttons
- Outdated Visuals: Flat and old-fashioned design style; doesn’t reflect brand value.
- No Differentiation: All cards look identical — no hierarchy or “featured” card.
Why Choose Us Section
- Monotonous Layout: Repetitive icon-text blocks create visual fatigue.
- Outdated Design Style: Lack of modern visuals, illustrations, or animation.
- No Brand Emphasis: Fails to communicate trust factors like safety, pricing, or reliability clearly.
About Us Page
- Too Text-Heavy: Minimal visuals or design elements to support storytelling.
- No CTA Buttons: Doesn’t lead users to the next step (e.g., “Book a Ride”).
- No Trust Elements: Missing stats, testimonials, or team visuals to build credibility
Vehicles Page
- Plain Card Design: No hover effects, animations, or visual appeal.
- Missing Key Info: Doesn’t show capacity, luggage, or pricing details clearly.
- No “Book This Vehicle” CTA: Reduces conversion opportunities.
- No Filtering Option: Users can’t sort vehicles by type or features.
Contact Page
- Basic Layout: Looks empty and lacks strong visual direction.
- Poor Field Spacing: Form elements feel cramped.
- No Map or Location Visuals: Users can’t easily identify service area
- Weak CTA Button: Not visually striking enough to encourage form submission.
Blog Page
- Cluttered Navigation: Overcrowded top menu and poor grouping.
- Outdated Content: Makes the site feel inactive.
- Inconsistent Formatting: Posts vary in spacing, text, and image alignment.
- No Visual Preview or CTA: Posts lack thumbnails or “Read More” buttons.
- Phase-2
SEO Audit (Ranking, Speed & Visibility)
We analyzed the site on five SEO pillars - Technical SEO, Page Speed, On-page Optimization, Content Quality, and Local SEO.
Technical SEO Issue & Fix
Issue:
The website was using the wrong schema type (Article Schema), which caused Google to misclassify its service pages.
Fix:
- Schema Update: Replace the existing Article Schema with the Service or TouristTrip Schema.
- Search Clarity: This helps Google clearly understand that the website represents a taxi service business, improving visibility in relevant searches.
Page Speed Issue & Fix
Issue:
Page speed was also a major problem. The site took 9.9 seconds to load, mainly due to heavy images, lack of caching, and no lazy loading. Such slow loading leads to user drop-offs even before the page is fully visible.
Fix:
- Image Compression: Compress large images and enable caching to reduce load time.
- Lazy Loading: Use lazy loading for below-the-fold images to speed up initial page rendering.
- Font Optimization: Optimize fonts to prevent text-loading delays and improve visual stability.
On-Page Issue & Improvements
Issue:
In on-page SEO, we found duplicate H2 headings, missing meta keywords, and generic alt tags. Additionally, the website did not have landing pages targeting search intent keywords like “Goa Airport to Calangute Taxi Price.”
Fix:
- Meta Optimization: Add optimized meta descriptions and unique headings for each page.
- Keyword Content: Include keyword-focused content that targets relevant search intent.
- Location Pages: Create dedicated landing pages for key routes and areas (e.g - Airport ⇄ Calangute, North Goa Tours, etc.).
Content Quality Issue & Fix
Issue:
The website had thin and low-value content on important service and route pages. Most pages contained too few words and didn’t provide enough detail for users or search engines to understand the offerings, which affected rankings and engagement.
Fix:
- Content Expansion: Add detailed, keyword-rich descriptions to all service and route pages to improve topic relevance.
- Search Intent Focus: Create new content around high-intent keywords and user needs (e.g - airport transfers, sightseeing, local tours).
- Internal Linking: Connect related services and route pages to strengthen site structure and help users navigate more easily.
Local SEO Issue & Enhancements
Issue:
For Local SEO, the Google Business Profile was active but not ranking in the top 3 map results due to fewer citations and a lack of keyword-rich reviews.
Fix:
- Google Business Profile Optimization: Update and optimize all Google Business Profile fields with accurate details and keywords.
- Local Citations: Build listings on trusted local directories to improve map visibility.
- Review Strategy: Encourage customers to include taxi-related keywords in their reviews to boost local relevance.
